Heart attack is a serious, sudden heart condition usually characterized by varying degrees of chest pain or discomfort, weakness, sweating, nausea, vomiting, and arrhythmias, sometimes causing loss of consciousness. It occurs when the blood supply to a part of the heart is interrupted, causing death and scarring of the local heart tissue.

I read an article today in the newspaper, where a gentleman had a HeartMate II device implanted while waiting for a heart transplant. And apparently the device has worked with great success. Even to the point that another gentleman does not want a transplant (of course age and risk play huge role in his decision). But the article also talked about the gentleman being able to put together a bucket list.
My question is has anyone put together a bucket list since surviving the there HA?
The HeartMate II is Thoratec's first-line intermediate-to-chronic left ventricular assist device. Designed to dramatically improve survival and quality of life, the HeartMate II was developed with the goal of providing several of circulatory support for a broad range of advanced heart failure patients.

I picked a version that shows the lyrics. The only thing is that the person who created the file puts the lyrics of one part as "I finally read a good book", when the actual lyrics are "I finally read The Good Book".
The lyrics are also relevant to what Challenger52 said above, and they're relevant to our Cassie, too, of course! Hope you enjoy!
I felt like I was dying " before" my HA. Never did anything, always worked, took care of everyone else, didn't have many friends & put my own life on hold. This has been an eye opener for me and I intend to live for "me" now. I've been blessed to be able to wake up every day and see how beautiful life can be and how awesome my friends are.
