Heart Attack Support Group
Heart attack is a serious, sudden heart condition usually characterized by varying degrees of chest pain or discomfort, weakness, sweating, nausea, vomiting, and arrhythmias, sometimes causing loss of consciousness. It occurs when the blood supply to a part of the heart is interrupted, causing death and scarring of the local heart tissue.

I read your post when you put it on here the other day. It was new and I don't know why no one answer it. Why didn't I?
I think I was on the same page as Pam and a couple of others, feeling like we got to think about it.
IT IS SO BIG! I don't want to be the first to answer I was holding back to see how it was going to go to tell the truth.
But then I saw where I've been listening to music lately a lot.
And some of the songs I been listening to answer your questions.
It was weird to me that you had ask these 3 questions while I was listening and thinking along the simular lines.
So it kind of put me back and I thought about what you ask.
It's scary, for me anyways. looking ahead and not too far away from your 75 is scary to me. I never thought about getting older. I guess in my childish ways I thought I was young forever. Never thought about saving for when I got old.....well I would say save it you will need it as you grow older. Think about that new car again. Do you need that new car? Can you put that payment away instead. Well for me that is how I think.
of course I wanted that new car....and I usually got one. So I think looking back I should of save that money.
I have 5 grown kids now. But while growing up did I spend too much on them. YES! I was taught that by the way my dad treated me and my kids. Dad always came over with things with each of his visits.
My dad taught me to give. So in away now I have nothing lost a lot, but I do have my kids. I tell people they are my dimons! smile
So what does this have to do with getting older........I didn't save, I took care of my kids, and I still alive.......
So I am thankful for the things I have and not worried about what I don't have any more.
I think getting old besides all the illnesses.....has open up new pathways for me.
I just have to find them and use them.
As for dreaming........well I never really dream, dream. If I ever remember it was far and inbetween.
I do dream all the time what will I do .....all the what if's.
Then it is all connected to the above one...isn't it?
So I say dream big dream wide and dream what ever floats your boat....
stay true to YOU>
I don't know what I sing mostly about.....I do sing....I will sing in the shower.....lol I will sing in my car.......I will sing hopely without caughing too much!
I sing about my kids, grandkids, my family. I sing about life.....and
I would like to sing right now...........to say thank you
for a moment of look back!
Go and sing for yourself..........
ture colors always comes true..
thanks for the 3 questions........I ran out of lines and color right into the next picture.........
fun isn't it.
i cry about the fact i cudv lived a healthier lifestyle
i sing about life and the fact that im still around
What do I cry about? My mother and I did not have a good relationship. I am sorry that she died in a nursing home. I usually put that sorrow and remorse in a little, mental box, put the lid on it, and place it far back in my mind. I'm sorry too that I spent many years living in fear.
What do I sing about? I've made some hard decisions lately, and God has sustained me through them just as He did through my heart attack. I am truly grateful for His blessings and grateful that He has given me a longer life. Every day is a gift from God, and I try to treat every day like the gift it is.
I also sing about the wonderful friends I have, like you, Louie. Thank you for this post. It's given me a chance to reflect on the good and the bad, and to realize that the good in my life far outweighs the bad.
I cry about the future for our children
I sing about the new life i have and the great new freinds i have
I have to say im really not a cryer but a worrier

I dream about the day I win the lottery jackpot..... That's the day that I will:
No longer have to tell my kids I can't afford to help them with college.
No longer have to tell my wife we have to go into work every day.
No longer have to pass the pan handler on the street because the only thing in my wallet is a $5 bill that I need for the week
No longer have to pay insurance companies for things that may never happen.
No longer have to lie to charity organizations that call and tell them I am out of work.
No longer have to tell bill collectors that the check will be in the mail as soon as I get paid.
No longer have to drive on bald tires worrying if the car will make it till next month.
No longer will have to watch TV for entertainment because its the only thing I can afford.
(Just wanted to make the point its not about greed)
I cry because I can't make a difference.
I cry because the world is full of greed.
I cry because in this day and age we have to assume the worst and pray for the best.
I cry when youth is lost way too soon.
I cry when my wife gets that distant look in her eye thinking about better places and things.
I sing about the "HOPE" that tomorrow can always bring.
I dream about simple pleasures and simple times in my future, and I hope I am brave and clear enough to work things out that way.
I cry about . . . . . . .?
First I started to think I don't cry lately, so I don't know what I cry about, but then I remembered all the times I cried a bit recently in church, as I've written about in my DS journal. I cry about my yearning for connection with God and others.
I sing about EVERYTHING! I sing most days, and I sing everywhere. I feel alive when I'm singing, I express my emotions by singing, and I'm very grateful for being able to sing (though just a good-enough singer).
Thanks for posting this Louie, and thank you to everyone who has responded. All really great to read!!!
