Healthy Sex Support Group
This community is dedicated to an open discussion about healthy sex and sharing thoughts and feelings about sexuality and improving one's sex life. Most active adults desire to have an active and fulfilling sex life, both for themselves and also their partner. Here we discuss common sexual challenges faced by both men and women.
As far as perfecting your skills, my suggestion would be to hang around here a while, read the posts, comment and ask a few qiestions. There is a wealth of knowledge to be passed on to a willing recipient here, not to mention many good books and of course the web. Probably, the one thing that will always improve a sexual relationship is to become a real unselfish lover/person. Jmo
As for pleasing a woman, as Toss said there's a lot of information on how to please a woman but the best way is to find out from the woman you're with what pleases her. We don't all come from the same mold and what is fantastic to one woman might be ho-hum to the next woman. Both partners being able to openly communicate about their likes, dislikes, turn-ons, turn-offs, fantasies, wants, needs and desires is the key.
I know there are many women that way.. but there are also many men that way as well. Different people have different sex drives.
How old are the women you are talking about? What's their background? I'm wondering if there is a certain type of women you know, or certain types of guys.
Generalizing that all women don't like sex isn't very feasible. It possibly sounds like you and your friends are not connecting to these women.
I think it's all in how a man and a woman, or partner and partner treat each other in romantic ways. Every person is different and you have to find out what your partner would like, or what it would take to please them, and how you would want them to please you.
Each person is different, take for example - Leather and I. Both of us are older (or shall i say, seasoned) and both like sex very much...she would be very bored if her partner wanted to have sex the way I like it, and I would be running for the hills if my partner wanted to have sex the way she likes it..
You have to find the connection with your partner and either talk about it or show each other what you would enjoy to help find the passion.
As far as learning to please a woman, ask her. Explore her body, pay attention to her reactions. Every woman is different, what works for one of us may do nothing for another, and speaking from my own experience, it's entirely possible for a woman to know absolutely nothing about something she might thoroughly enjoy until she discovers it with her man. Those sorts of discoveries can be wonderful bonding moments for a couple.
I do understand your thoughts and feeling though. i was married to a prude for 13 years and she didnt really want sex much , but I feel it was the Pchy drugs she was on mor ethen anything.
i think women who arent very experienced with sex can be this...like it can be painful and you need to have a lot of sex before it gets better. I know I was like this when I first started out having sex I was like this, and I just did it to 'get it over and done with,' it wasnt until my late 20s that I really started to enjoy it. But now I can firmly say that I love sex.
All but one of the women I have been with enjoyed sex, many of them had sex drives equal to or greater than mine.
I was also very lucky to have some really honest women early one that would walk me through the process of turning them on.
For a long time I also thought that women were inherently selfish lovers that only cared for how THEY felt. I learned that it was the kind of women I was attracting, because of issues in myself.
Maybe you could ask yourself, why are you attracting women that aren't into sex? Are you settling for women you are not happy with? Why?
I think that whether or not a person enjoys sex depends on person. I think that the quality of the sex very much depends on the openness of the couple in expressing their needs and desires. I have been married to the same man for 17 years and I still love sex.... And lots of it! And unless a physical ailment strikes me, I don't see that changing. ;)
Basically, don't try to learn from porn, don't be selfish, and ask her what she likes and then pay attention. Also, don't JUST touch her when you want sex. A woman usually likes to feel she's worth kissing or holding hands with ASIDE from sex. For some men, the nice words and touches only come out when they want sex, and that takes a lot of sincerity out of the relationship. "Your hair looks nice" should not mean, "I want to bang you."
Oh wait wasn't that what the OP was talking about?
Hmmm.. Isn't that called tired sex? Or I don't give a crap sex? Or man on top, get it over with quick sex?
I would be very bored, but whatever floats your boat I guess...I sure don't want to be on that boat....
