There are many things that can make a woman late. If she takes the pill as directed, the chance of her being pregnant is extremely low.

it depends on her body and how dedicated she is to taking the pill PROPERLY. i got pregnant 3 times while on the pill because i wasnt as careful about how i was taking them.

My experience is.. took the pill religiously for many years. It never failed me. Although I have heard from others, still claiming they took it as directed - they concieved. If none of this works then pregnancy is likely. It is important to take the pill as directed and tO use back up protection if she has taken any medication, like antibiotics, that may affect efficiency. A woman's period can be late for a variety of reasons. If pregnancy is a concern, it wouldn't hurt to take a pregnancy test.

She takes the pill everyday but does she take it at the same time everyday? It does make a difference. I was on it for many years but I was very religious on taking it properly (key word, taking it properly) and never had an accidental pregnancy.

There are so many things that can mess with a woman's cycle, coming down with or having an illness (even a simple cold), stress, anxiety, strenuous exercise, diet, age, medications (if she needs to take antibiotics, other forms of BC should be used, some antibiotics and other meds can lower the effectiveness of the pill).
