I'm a little on the fence.

While I think in all likelihood he did do what he's accused of, if I was on the jury, I would make the prosecution prove it.

In short, I've known people railroaded by the system. And I believe pretty strongly in 'innocent until proven guilty'.

But what his fellow cast members thought...that's irrelevant.

Just me, but him bringing them in to testify against him...probably means that he doesn't have much of a defense. Not "proof" but...to me, makes him look worse. But then, it's really hard to prove that you "didn't" do something. (How would I "prove" that I didn't go to McDonald's last year? About the only thing I could do would be to bring in my kids to testify that they've never seen me go there...but my kids can't know for certain that I didn't get up in the middle of the night and gorge on french fries and milkshakes...)

Which is why for "proof", I'd want to see police reports, diary entries, phone calls, hotel records, etc, etc...and even then, it's just very hard to prove something from decades ago...

While I think he's probably guilty, it won't surprise me if the prosecution fails to prove it and if he's eventually freed.

The whole process of a trial isn't exactly "nothing" though. This is costing him millions, and countless stress. Not nearly the same as prison, but not nothing either.

"Just keep that money comin' in, Bill--we'll sweep this under the rug!"

He adnitted giving qualudes to women to put them in a receptive mood. And who in their right mind would lie about being a rape victim?

I think he is totally guilty. I hope I am wrong but if I am not , it is the creepiest thing ever, to think of America's Dad as being a rapist......and not just a rapist but a serial rapist ! It makes me feel like everything I think is good in the world could all be false reality too. I was a rape victim long ago....(not from B.C. of course) and I may be more likely to believe the accusers because of that. But I don't think so. Sexysub, I would say usually someone who says they were raped is nearly always telling the truth.......cops even say that.
But I also suppose there are occasional people who want their 15 minutes of fame and him being so famous, it is feasible for one , maybe two.......but not that many........to be lying. He did admit. He probably may not see it as wrong.

we all knew about him and Marilyn Monroe.....right. And , I also read a book about her, and that was sad. In her case , she slept with him and wanted more....but he cut her loose. But the intern , who was I think 19 at the time their affair began....and went on right up till he was killed. But the way he took the sex and other details, were a shock to me. He was just another horny man with too much power.
