Healthy Sex Support Group
This community is dedicated to an open discussion about healthy sex and sharing thoughts and feelings about sexuality and improving one's sex life. Most active adults desire to have an active and fulfilling sex life, both for themselves and also their partner. Here we discuss common sexual challenges faced by both men and women.
maybe you are just finding the wrong gals or sending off a wrong vibe to them.
My hubby and I have great (awesome!) sex and it gets better the more we love each other everyday. It is like we are still on our honeymoon after years and a couple kids.
I have to admit that the beginning of our relationship was nothing like the past ones ever.. for me or for him. We both had looked instead of found. We both were at a time in our lives of not wanting to be in a relationship and sick of the whole game. We instantly fell in love and knew it was going to be a long time together.
If you feel they have other intentions... you may just be with the wrong people.
Not sure if I made any sense either.. LOL (my placenta brain has been kicking into high gear lately)
that is what I did... but not on purpose.. it was part of recreating ME.. and the morning I looked in the mirror and said I was happy with myself and my life.. BAM.. he came into my life like a big mac truck.
I had actually met my current hubby tons of times over 15 years. He used to play basketball at my next door neighbor's house everyday... we met a thousand times, but never realized each other... until the one day we both were totally set in our lives and stopped looking for something.. the air was clear.. the slate was clean... we were happy with ourselves.. not trying to find someone to complete us.
and... we are wonderful now.
Don't "try to be" anything or anyone other than yourself. Nothing wrong with a nice physical romp in the hay six or seven times a week, but the right one is out there and is looking for you. Be yourself and the right one will eventually attach herself to you like a barnicle.
And, in particular, unless its the real you, stop being sweet. Women talk a good game about it, but as a group I've found they want someone confident, straightforward, funny and strong - emotionally and from a personality standpoint. I think that's you. Go, Grasshopper. As Mister Miyagi said in "The Karate Kid"..."you best mojo still inside you. Time come out!"
Sex is a physical need, and we all know it needs to be filled. I generally stay aloof and detached from personal feelings while I'm taking care of such business.
Heck, I remember throwing a girl an offhanded marriage proposal once so she could get her citizenship!
Personally, I dont think love is overrated at all...it's the partner we overrate.
I wouldn't give up yet Kool, sounds like you're hitting a rough patch with the ladies you're meeting. Stick to your guns, don't settle until you find and get exactly what you want...she's out there. You deserve to be loved exactly how you want to be loved. Be honest and dont take no crap! You're going to find a girl who will appreciates taking of you, your needs, and both your strong and sensitive sides. Be patient.
