I could relate to all the characters, particularly "Big" who left Sarah Jessica Parker's character at the altar on the day of their wedding. It wasn't that he didn't love her; it's just that the whole "big show" of a humongously elaborate wedding day gave him stage-fright and scared him off about the whole high expectations of marriage thing, especially after two previous failed marriages. Or maybe he just wasn't all that romantic (quoting Beethoven rather than writing her his own love letters) LOL.
Really liked Sarah Jessica Parker's character. That is a woman I could really feel at peace and in love with.

Don't have HBO, so I never watched the series, but I liked the movie. According to these characters, it seems you ladies do a lot of shopping when you're lonely (or bored) LOL.

I wouldn't even touch mine (it would gather dust) if not for this fucking photography/video business I got into which was supposed to be more profitable by now...spending time marketing at this point rather than spending money I don't have buying any more $1,000+ equipment LOL...
Used to enjoy the series for a giggle and the ex-husband used to despise me for it - this from a man who was addicted to 'Friends', so go figure.
I'd do that much shopping if I could afford to, but these days I just have to go for a good walk if I want cheering up :(
SJP is a turn-off for me, I don't like matchstick women.

I'm joking, of course. Having recently gone through the procedure, I can honestly say I'd rather have a root canal than see this movie. Unless, that is, I could have a steady stream of Nitrous Oxide while I watched it.
