Don't be afraid to set rules and limits beforehand. I have had threesomes before, one with my fiance being the one in the middle. Another with me being in the middle. Both worked out pretty great. The threesomes I am referring to were "one night stands" and everything was agree upon before anything happened.
For this to work and for your relationship to come out stronger, you should be openly communicating what you want and need from this encounter to your husband and this new girl you are bringing in.
Then you need to take into account what your husband and the girl expect and want from the encounter. Only when you are all in agreement as to what will happen should you move forward.
Nothing will destroy a relationship faster than a miscommunication. Then afterwards, you should all have another heart-to-heart to make sure everyone is feeling ok so you can part on amiable terms.
Good luck and have fun!

It would hurt me deeply to see my man touching another woman intimately. Even if he says he wouldn't, it's not a risk I'd take. I'd always wonder if he still respects me.
Some things are best left to fantasy.
I've had men suggest that to me, and I was offended. Role-playing & toys, ok with me. No 3rd party.
That's just me & my opinion.
Sometimes just reminiscing about someone would get us really worked up and would lead to another amazing time together.
All three parties would have to be entirely honest with each other and to yourselves, as well. If any one finds the urge for more than just the physical aspect, that needs to come out to all three immediately and the relationship with the third party ended.
Passion is like wildfire. It's very tough to contain it once it gets out.
Bad idea IMO.
You know your relationship better than we- only you truly know if jealousy will be a killer here, because that's the main issue with 3somes- jealousy.
In response to another answer- I don't see how this question is any healthier than any other. It's all healthy as far as I can see.....nothing I've come across so far can be deemed to be highly unhealthy.
Thanks for all of the advice everyone.
I have one involving a tennis skirt .... I'm still hoping that my wife remembers when I shard this with her and does something about it :)
