Question about Oral Sex

Hi everyone,


I want to know how men feel about giving oral sex to women.  My experience has been that almost all men do it as a matter of course, and many like it an awful lot.  But I know there are some men who don't.  Why wouldn't they?  Does anyone know?

I’ve always enjoyed giving it. It’s been a great way to introduce her to some of the sensations and encourage her to ask for what she wants. Some men might be concerned about cleanliness. We shower before and after. She had some UTI issues so cleanliness is important for us

I think your approach is good. of course cleanliness is necessary and basic, but
in my case that is not the issue. Just wondering whether anyone who doesn't like it can provide some insight. I don't know whether this is a forever thing, whether this is the tip of the iceberg for something else? My partner is a clean freak but I'm very vigilant about keeping clean.

I read the article and the basic message was that you're not avoiding the risks associated with sex by having oral sex only: STDs, injury....not that there are more risks in doing oral sex. I think that if the risk is your main reason, that you just don't want to do it. Which is fine.

The answer to your question (Why wouldn't they?) is personal preference. Your question is akin to asking Why don't some women like sucking dick?

Maybe you're right. I was just trying to ferret out anything that might be solved. I really like it but my partner has never done it and never will, he says. Just hoping that maybe we could work out the issue, if I could understand what the issue is.

I don't really like it because of the sexually transmitted infections/diseases a lot of people have. Especially herpes. I had one bad experience, now I only have sex with a woman who has herpes. Not a good life to live as a result of oral sex.

Mary, no one should do anything or pressured into doing things there not comfterble with with or don't like. Communication is the key as well as honesty.

Oral was a big deal for my gf and I. She is very self conscious. I explained I wanted to relax her and appreciate her in that way. There was no expectation that she reciprocate, our objective was that I wanted to totally relax her and wanted her to communicate how she felt and what she wanted.
