And as long as a genital piercing has healed properly, I can't see how removing the jewellery would cause any damage.
If there is any risk of nerve damage, surely that's more likely to happen at the time the piercing is first done?
If you're at all worried, speak to your piercing studio before you get anything done. And if they're any good they'll give you full advice about after-care to make sure it heals easily.
If it's not done in the right "spot" I'm sure it could get very sore..especially if their peirce a nerve.
i would have to think too, that unless you had both had hooks for your piercings, you would be ok that way...
