Anti- depressants can have an effect on you . When I was on prozac I lost all interest in it. I came off them and since then Ive been much better :) Speak to doc next time you are there about it x

Yeah, antidepressants are or can be a mood killer. I think it takes time, adjustments to meds and a bit more ingenuity (stretch out the foreplay). Also heard pot helps, if that's something you're into (don't know personally).

Reading that just reminded me how I could not reach orgasm when I was taking anti d's...It was very frustrating...I am no longer taking anti d's & no longer have a problem...

I to have had experience with Zolft like warguppy. Only it was not so much that I could not cum, but it simply reduced my libido heaps. I just lost interest. Then, to demonstrate the point, I had one month when I was taking half the dose I had been on purely by mistake, the chemist had filled an old script for me and I didn't realize that the dosage was halved, and I didn't look. After two weeks I was walking around with this great pole in my pants. Just the mention of a pussy and I was up and raring to go. Anti depressants definitely have an affect on your sexual satisfaction and sensation. In fact a shrink told me once that they use zoloft as a medication to help guys who premature ejaculate, to slow them up.

It definitely has an effect. Prozac was great for my depression, but when I became sexually active again, I could not have orgasms and I was forced to switch to Wellbutrin. So if you don't get yours, it's likely the drug.

It's wild b/c I ran out of Wellbutrin and did something I shouldn't and took my son's Prozac and I noticed the difference sexually that night and the next few nights even though I only took one dose!!

YES! I was on one anti-depressant when i met my now husband...and i actually couldnt feel down there what he was doing. Ide pretend i knew, but i seriously had no idea till later cause it felt funny. lol
And i could not orgasm till i was off that stuff for like 4 months.

I was on Luvox for a month or so and it made my libido skyrocket but I couldn't cum! I was so frustrated! Then my pdoc switched me to Prozac and I'm cumming just fine and then some, lol!

I know 1st hand on meds & low to no sex drive.

Ive been on anti-d's for many yrs. Severe depression. Right now im on Welbutrin 200mg, Cymbalta 80mg & Lacictal 100mg daily.

Beleive me, the sex has been, well, like my post titled *LACK O NOOKIE*. I told my GP bout it & he said, "just get started, it will cum". How can u get started when u have NO DESIRE???

Thats what i love bout HS. Gets me in the mood, especially if hub comes home in a good mood & the kids arnt fighting. If the evening goes to shit, then forget it, no sex for me.

Will probably just stick it out cos these anti depressants really work for me and dont fancy messing about trying to find another one that works the same, it hasnt really affected my sex drive i still feel like having sex and enjoy it I just cant always orgasm!!!

Yes anti depressants can make orgasim very difficult. Lots of foreplay helps, so does having oral done.

Stick w what works. Its too damn hard to find the right med. If u start messing w them & not taking them when ur suppose to, ull end up in MENtal ward due to suicidal attempt or locked up for being a danger to urself or others.

Learned that from experience, sadly to say.
