This community is dedicated to an open discussion about healthy sex and sharing thoughts and feelings about sexuality and improving one's sex life. Most active adults desire to have an active and fulfilling sex life, both for themselves and also their partner. Here we discuss common sexual challenges faced by both men and women.
but I did just join a local gym, and I'm going for my first workout tonight with my super sexy personal trainer.
My motivation is:
#1 - I don't like what I see when i look in the mirror
#2 - I'm sick of getting winded walking upstairs.
#3 - the next person who asks me if i'm pregnant is going to get punched in the face.
I want to live a long fulfilling life and this is much easier being in shape. I think I am a beautiful woman, but there was a time when I was not... when I was eating anything I wanted and smoking a pack a day. Our bodies our fragile and need to be taken care of. My confidence and sex appeal has increased tremendously over the past year and now that I know what that feels like, I am not willing to give it up.
I take it to a level higher than simply exercising, being a bodybuilder and therefore train much differently than others.
Even with as much as the average joe blow on the street says differently, i love the way it makes me look and feel, both for myself as well as the person i love. It also serves as a good role model and example to my children, especially since i'm steroid free.
I also have a very high tolerance of pain and i love pushing myself to the absolute limits and then beyond. Let me put it to you this way..when you go to the gym and you hear someone grunting and groaning and the banging of weights somewhere in the back.....that's me lol
Looking in the mirror is not so depressing, I can see my pecker unlike most of my mates and it keeps me lively.
You will love the gym Ldmay and notice a lift in your mood and motivation towards activities. Lmao off about the "If I'm pregnant" comment, guess that would motivate you my 'Butt' to the gym.
I do it because I want to keep up with my kids and heaven forbid, lol, my grandchildren as they grow up.
After I moved home, I had no gym to go to and no motivation. I got a job sitting on my ass and gained the weight right back. My neighbor owned a Curves so I started going there, and after a few weeks felt loads better, more energy, etc. Then my office moved and it was no longer economical to go.
Finally three weeks ago I joined the new gym that opened down the street. I HATE exercising, but look at it as an investment in myself and my future. Kind of like going to the dentist. Not pleasant, but an hour 3-4 times a week will not kill me, and actually WILL make me stronger haha.
That plus I feel like a fat slob and want to look and feel sexy again.
