the "medical jargon" out of the way, i'm sorry that you are going through this. technically, they are right about the infection stuff. best to play it very safe with that, as an infection in the blood can lead to problems in nearly every organ system in the body. in the meantime, just kick back, relax, and try to ignore the stupid advice of stupid doctors lol
thank you all for the responses I appreciate them all :)
what kind of doctors are you seeing?
It has been weeks, maybe months since you saw the doctor because of pain in your pelvic area. It seems kind of quackery on their part.
The IUD is very safe for some people, and not very safe for others. It's been around for over 40 years - and taken off then put back on the market a few times. I have heard more nightmare stories about it then not.
I have never heard about a body rejecting it because of not having children. I'm sure it could be a side effect though. Never heard of being under the age of 20 causing it a problem either - but then again, the ones out now are supposedly the new and improved ones. Though, not very improved for you.
A lawsuit FadingIntoDarkness? Really? First of all do you have any clue how much that would cost her? Much more then she owes - and if she gets one of those accident attorneys - they are the ones who profit - no one else.
You pretty much have to be on your death bed and have been screwed up pretty bad medically to make any kind of profit with a lawsuit.
That's the kind of thinking that clogs up the court system and increases insurance premiums.
And I'm also wondering FullMetal - why didn't you sign up for lovely Obamacare - I would think you would fit right into the plan without a problem., don't take this wrong, but you are young, and have no money - just the kind of person who would get the plan (probably free) without any hassles.
Unfortunately, you now have to wait until November to sign up again.
Make sure you are staying in bed, legs raised on pillows as often as you possibly can, drink plenty of fluids. - No dairy products, no alcohol what so ever because of the antibiotics. ice your lower back often - it will help keep the swelling down, which will keep the pain at bay.
The antibiotics are probably going to cause a yeast infection so plan on having monistat in the house because the yeast infection will creep up on you without warning.
Oh and when your dr removes it, he or she will probably - or at least should - put you on another round of antibiotics.
And find yourself a good gynecologist who you can talk to about all your options.
I go to the emergency room when I need to and clinics because I hardly have any money so its hard for me to get insurance. I've been told before to signup for obama care or medical. Im so confused because when I was young I raised myself and I dont really know much about any insurance . I had to figure out a lot of things on my own and I havent looked into health insurance.
once you find out if your state is federal run, or state run, you can then call the number before you apply. They are very helpful and knowledgeable.
You may want to find out the info now and call them anyway. Who knows you may be able to apply in your state.
Where I live, if you have life changing events, such as marriage, divorce, change in employment, you can apply even if open enrollment has closed.
Start on this page and educate yourself about it. https://www.healthcare.gov/ call them if you have any questions. You can pm me if you have questions too.
