Is It True?

I have been told by quite a few men who I have chatted with and I just wanted to check this out...


I did struggle for a long time feeling unattractive, unwanted and undesired because I am no 25 yr old size 6.  But after hearing that many do desire mature women (since we are more aware of just what we do like and how to go about getting it) and are quite content with our hips and curves. I have also heard that you all are far more turned on by a woman who does know what she wants and is assertive and not afraid to go for it  (with or without a few extra pounds)  


I have finally reached a point where I am comfortable in the skin I am in and do feel attractive, sexy and wanted again (and thank you for that, btw.) My only fear is that I will be comfortable enough to take this(and my very naughty mind) with me when out in the real face to face world.  (Is far easier here, behind the laptop.)


PS. I do still have my moments where I do begin to doubt myself again- usually after hearing some negative hurtful words from someone trying to hurt or control me .  I am trying to remember in what context and just where this does come from



Would appreciate your HONEST thoughts.

Taste varies person to person. There is definitely a market for the older lady. As the classic porn joke goes:

“There are only two ages in porn, 18 and Milf”

I wouldn’t worry too much. Not everybody goes to seek out the size 6 25 year old. Lots of people these days have no preference and will be happy to pursue various body types, shapes, height etc.

Personality is most important to me - kindness, thoughtfulness, understanding. Some young women do have such qualities but women closer to my own age excite me more. In any case, I don't think a 25 year old would go for me..

@Crayson-- PS Not to worry I am not after you. Also wanted to let you know I know full well by now that you are not into that. (Just my silly sense of humor) But thanks for the compliment. I was also from the old school where anyone over 55 was to be sitting on the rocker crocheting with the cats . (Something I definitely will NOT be doing. God willing)

First of all I have a 27 year old daughter so women younger than 40 are like kids to me. Not my thing. I have been with a petit woman for decades now but I could be attracted to all body shapes. Speaking for myself, I think an affectionate willing woman is sexier than Barbie.

@veggiequeen age is less of an issue today than it used to be. There will be certain people who aren’t interested in someone your age, but that can be said of absolutely any age! I think you’ll be fine.

No matter the age it's more important to be confident. And being mature with curves is sexy so don't let that bother you. Nothing like a fit, curvy mature woman that knows how to please a man. So get your butt out there!! :)

I agree with bubbabiker. Confidence and being comfortable in your own skin are far sexier than any body parts. I am reading Napoleon Hill, and beginning to understand why people who genuinely WANT to have great intimate and senaual relationships, end up having great intimate and sensual relationships. My grandmother got remarried after a 50 year marriage at 85. You go girl!

Thank you all for the kind words and encouragement. I have been itching to get back out there and discover even a fraction of what I have missed. All I can say is whoever I do finally get my hands on better watch out! (I am hanging tight for at least a week!!! wink, wink)

I knew a couple who got married at age 79--both of them. They had almost 10 years together. I have not given up but so frustrated at the single men I know.
I'm comfortable with my body but I only want the lights on if I am laying down!!! Then nothing hangs!! LOL!
