Healthy Sex Support Group
This community is dedicated to an open discussion about healthy sex and sharing thoughts and feelings about sexuality and improving one's sex life. Most active adults desire to have an active and fulfilling sex life, both for themselves and also their partner. Here we discuss common sexual challenges faced by both men and women.

Hepatitis or HIV might give me pause but I wouldn't necessarily consider them deal breakers.
If I chose not to stay with the person I would not make up an excuse, I would be honest with him.
It would not change how I felt about the person.
Of course having an STD is hard on all the parties involved but if both partners involved know about the risks of the STD I don't think it's that big of a deal.
Herpes has a very slim chance of being passed on when there are no outbreaks and if the person is on medication. I believe that I would continue to see them, and I wouldn't make up an excuse to get away. My feelings for that person would NOT change because they are still a human being and they need to feel that way.
When he found out he was really upset and it took him a LOT to tell me. We had already been together well over 2 years at that point, so it didnt phase me. After that long, i didnt care anymore. I knew i wasnt planning on going anywhere and i certainly wasnt going to let a tiny spot or a cold sore keep me away from someone that i was deeply in love with and fathered my daughter (and later my son).
