I bought myself all the techie toys I want last year (which is why I'm broke this year), and I could care less about getting a blu-ray player or any of that nonsense. But times have been so lean last couple of months that I'm behind on the "roof over my head" too! But I just landed what I feel is a good, steady, high-paying contract, so we'll see...

"Work ethics have changed considerably these days, there is no stability." Yeah, and no loyalty, by employers or employees. They can lay you off at any time with no notice and then you're on the street. This is why, as shaky as free-lancing is, I feel more comfortable serving 12 clients than 1 employer. Plus the money (when it's there) is 5 times what I'd make as a steady employee. Anyone else free-lance? I know Raven does (multimedia artist).

hubby works 70 hours a week for that roof over our heads.
I used to be a workaholic- I am not lazy.. so their is no resentment there. I do everything I can.

I freelance my art, my business knowledge/organization skills, publishing company needs, personal trainer, yoga instructor, consultant for wellness products.... but it still doesn't quite cut it.

What I meant by Vegas is you can get a job as a male escort. Kill 2 birds with one stone.

As for the dog, didnt mean to be blunt. But it's true. My dog understands me better than most humans.
