Healthy Sex Support Group
This community is dedicated to an open discussion about healthy sex and sharing thoughts and feelings about sexuality and improving one's sex life. Most active adults desire to have an active and fulfilling sex life, both for themselves and also their partner. Here we discuss common sexual challenges faced by both men and women.

Growing up in the i980s, in school during sexual education we repetitively heard one of our teachers say, "There's no such thing as safe sex even with the protection in the use of a latex condom." Instead, our teachers emphasized and encouraged that the only way to have safe sex is not to have sex at all.
Growing up in a Catholic Religious culture and faith-based, I knew sex was a blessing, reserved for the wedding night. It was and I'm sure it still is a formal practice between the bride and groom. Everyone expects to consummate the marriage heavenly.
So that stuck with me thanks to a combination of academic upbringing and my family's religious and cultural dynamic and fostered examples in my family. I witnessed my uncles formally ask their spouses' hand in marriage and host their wedding in a religious Catholic Church with many guests, they've remained solid in their eternal promise to their spouses.
Very traditional outcomes. Many in my generation got married, at an early age and co-created, I'm one of them. Today, I stand by what was ministered to me early in my childhood and preteen years, abstinence is a blessing and a healthy estate.
There's nothing wrong with chastity and remaining abstinent from sexual activity until marriage. I have a feeling, and I know the right time will happen with the right person designed just as intended for me and he won't be just any man he will be my God. I know He is my husband in Spirit.

I don't remember the name of the place. However, it was a nice experience. Thereafter, we headed down to one of my favorite dessert destinations, the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in McAllen. It had been a while since we just...

My Bipolar Disorder is a result of family violence, but I didn't know until I was educated at Mujeres Unidas. Some of the stuff I encountered they called domestic abuse and strictly between spouses. No outside sources or influences. In knowing so, it's how I've been taught to survive and escalate matters to make sure that my case doesn't get dismissed in the court of records. I've also learned...
He respected my moral beliefs and didn’t push me until I was ready and it was 6 months after being in a relationship I am guilty of masturbation.
I wish we had married in a church.
The implication was clear. You are paid by the Archdiocese. If you want to continue to work with the Archdiocese you better support the assertions made by the Church
