I thought the same way about my dtr when she was 5....she is almost 25 now...what a big difference...
my son is SO much easier to raise...and he's 15....had lunch with them earlier at a nice place...it was great....
and i have a 4 year old stepson, Logan, who is the FREAKIN AWESOMEST!:)
