Can someone help me understand how a Support Group, with a massive membership, that anyone can join be considered a Clique?

I've seen some arguments here, but the only person I've seen actively rebuffed was a person who made several different accounts with several different personalities. You all know who I'm talking about.

Aside from that, this group has welcomed everyone who joins.
