Sounds like, in your mind, you're not only competing with younger women's bodies, but you're competing with HIS body too, when men's bodies age differently than women's, and he might just be taller than you, so his tall, bony frame allows more crevases for fat to hide than a shorter person.

Keep working out, not just for him, for yourself, to work on your self-esteem and to love your body, at any age.

Like you I definitely don't feel that way about myself. I have had 4 kids and have the excess right around the middle, but otherwise in decent shape. I think it is all in the way you present yourself - even if you don't feel like you are confident, act confident anyway! :-)

Yes, the porn hotties makes me insecure too. He watches alot of porn but doesnt really tell me but obviously, I can tell. I think he has problem as it is throughout almost every day, not jus once a day and he watches it on his cell phone (no volume) while I give him oral sex but he doesnt talk about it. He tries to hide it. It's all just working on me. The porn and the fact his ex wife did not want the divorce and so she is trying to get him in bed again as she tells me. She knows he thinks she is hot and tells me he will not be able to stay away from her. He asked for the divorce. He is wonderful to me but I am really concerned about some things. We've talked but he assures me it's just porn and he will not have sex with his ex.

I am sorry but this guy has a serious issue with porn.

I have a problem with people who watch porn daily. That's too much to me. I look at it max once a month. It isn't real but it still warps your mind into thinking it is if you watch excessive. And the ex wife messing with you is concerning. Why isn't he telling her to back off and leave you alone? That's his job as your partner, to make sure you feel secure and aren't harassed by her.

I don't understand the tremendous power that porn has over so many people. Reply #1 says "I like porn as much as anyone". Well here is a woman who doesn't like porn. It cheapens, degrades, and twists minds. It destroys relationships. It destroys self-respect.

I thought that seemed excessive with the porn but I havent dated many guys so I wasn't sure. The smart phone makes it easy to watch porn during the day at work. He has his own business so it's REALLY easy. I don' know if it's a relationship breaker or not. The porn doesn't really bother me because I feel they aren't woman he can meet up with. Don't get me wrong, I wish it were less but I guess I put it in the perspective of "there could be worse things"....like his crazy ex wife that he can't stand up to.
