We all really need human contact, but sadly many of us are lacking in that area of our lives.
I dont think that those feelings desires make you soft or you shouldnt be like that, its a good quality that a lot of women will welcome, and its who you are and u should never change.
but I would suggest when u start dating someone you dont lay all your cards out on the table right away . find out what kind if woman she is, what she likes , and at what pace she wants to go. some women really need the alpha male type. but even so if u meet and start dating a woman who doesnt want that kind if guy then she is proably not for you anyway...
And there are some, although fairly rare, women that also have the same language of love.
My experience is that stereotypes drive women to claim they are, and men to claim they aren't (cause it makes up less manly I suppose).
I would tell this guy, presumably you, that this is a great "litmus test" for a potential relationship. If a woman reacts badly to you saying these things, then she is NOT for you. Move on and try to find someone compatible.
