What he did was not very nice so I can certainly understand your feelings. What I do question is why he felt the need to do this in the first place and once you can find that out it might make things a whole lot clearer and then you both can make some changes that will benefit you both so this kind of behavior does not happen again.
Anyway try and have a talk with him and let him know how hurt you were as well as listening to his reasons why he felt the need to ignore you when he went out perhaps he is feeling some hurt as well and you are not aware of it. Hoping you both can work out your feelings very soon:)
