AMEN SISTER! There's a lot of men out there like this.. My xh never slept around but I was everything else that you mentioned. I was the cook, maid, there for pleasure and I even got a smack/fist or two when I mentioned that I didn't like things.

For ASDF.. Most men don't start out this way. They wait until you've fallen hard for them and then they show their true self. Most even do little things while you're still falling for them to kinda make you feel bad about yourself, but yet not so upfront that you think that they meant it that way. And after awhile, they can have your confidence so beaten down that even the most beautiful of women think that no one else would want them.

I'm not a racist, but, man...through all this ebonics I can't really understand what this guy is saying. I think he's looking for someone to assuage his guilt...

C'mon, dude, bone up, be a man, and either commit to this woman who loves you or be a wild thing with promiscuous women who don't give a damn about you and just want sex. You can't have it both ways.

Unfortunately...Married to a Foreigner can relate to this statement. I feel like a maid to my husband because he isn't mature enough (which is what I've found out about him after being married to him for a year). And there's that gut feeling of a younger woman lurking around. After everything that my husband has put me through, it might be a little of my own insecurity feeding into this, because I don't have proof aside from a now missing sweater from his wardrobe and just suttle things like the way he used to kiss me and the way he kisses me now...I knew there signs of infidelity or flirting and the feeling that he is just keeping me around because I'm more mature, I cook, I clean and I have a decent job. And waiting for his Green Card. I am now filing for divorce and taking charge of my life and know better to never get involved with someone who isn't a U.S citizen...or wait the relationship out until he's citizen on his own. I can't believe I've allowed myself to be used and taken advantage of. I now have to focus on my future and embracing the single life.
