yup im stuck., can't think of anymore.
I work for him too so would need to get a job. ( although I have to get all the food out of my 'wages'.)
we only rent this house so would need help with that, he's given his last house to his last wife
Im saving for a car.
If you cant do them alone, there is always temporary help.
I made in in US on my own at 18.. Good luck :-)
Unfortunately I have to say that in a way your husband is so much like mine.
Could they be relatives ? (Just kidding)
Some guys seem to learn from the same book, it's ridiculous how some of them have very similar types of behavior.
I am sorry that you too have someone like that.
This man is totally controlling you!
Do you have a relative to stay with for a while?
Anyway, incredibly dominating...
I saved $ and left his a$$...and we had two kids. I even "abandoned" our home because I just had to get the eff out. Did take the kids, tho. He always made me feel like I couldn't do it alone...said it frequently too...
But...
Got myself an apartment close to work that only required 1/2 month rent down and took the crappy car (with no car payment) because the car I drove was in his name.
Fast forward 5 years...to now.
I got a better job than I had at the time and make near double what I did. 3 years after I found the TRUE man of my dreams who's so considerate it's almost annoying. :P Not really...
Either way, I now know my strength...leaving isn't easy but oftentimes it's the BEST move one could ever make.
Good planning is required but it's not impossible. If I could do it with 2 kids making less than $35K a year...anyone can.
Best wishes to you...
~Michelle
