Yeah something kind of strange happened the past 2 days. I thought I had deleted my pof account but I checked my email yesterday and I got like 10 notifications from pof. So I log on and it's this girl I have never talked to. We started to talk and she told me about how she worked just 5 minutes away from where I live. We talked some more and she asked if I wanted to eat out this evening at the Mexican restaurant close to where she worked, I said OK. I messaged her about 15 minutes before and asked if she was coming and she said yes, she was on her way. I go to the restaurant and she stood me up. She told me that she'd be there at 4 I stayed until 4:20. I came home and at about 6:00 she messages me and said that she got there at 4:45. The date was at 4:00. She said she waited for 30 minutes.
I wasn't to upset about it but it is irritating when someone asks you out and you get stood up.

Many of you know Mr K told me to "shut your mouth" in March 2025 when we took a road trip to Alpena Michigan. And when we first started dating in 2024 he let me know, although he is an engineer by degree, he has an extremely low EQ. Overall, he is ok (not off the charts nice like other guys in...

Some people just have no sense of time and are notoriously late. My sister-in-law always shows up at least an hour late for everything. My family and I have learned to tack an extra hour on top of whenever she says she'll be somewhere.
You've already learned something about this girl even before you've met face-to-face!
There's a scrillion others out there, why think "oh - it's okay that somebody doesn't have enough respect to show up on time Or notify me." When this girl could be replaced with 400 others?
Second guy I met online met me at a McDonalds, got there late was shorter than he said and a balding redhead. I still went to a movie with him, I paid my own ticket then he asked me to go for tea after the movie and I said ok but he only ordered tea and a muffin for himself. We left there and he asked to walk a bit then quickly asked if I wanted to sit on a park bench and make out! Ya I don't do well meeting guys lol.
