We like who we like and we can't explain why. The heart wants the heart wants.
You choose women who have little time to date. I choose men who are emotionally (and sometimes physically) abusive, aloof or who belittle me and steal my self-esteem.
My reason is because I don't have a high self-worth. At least I can put a finger on my issue. I hope you are able to resolve yours.
You are attracted to educated women.. Would you be just attracted to someone uneducated? Or less educated than yourself?
Getting a vocational certificate that you would make similar pay? In a shorter time, I think my colleagues would sign up for that.
On topic though -- vocation is such a personal thing. I don't care what people do - as long as they do it well, with passion. So for me - I do often date people with little free time as they are engaged in what they do - whether it be making art out of corrugated iron or a professional role. But that is OK - cos I'm also passionate about what I do and am happy to occupy myself..........
Sounds good, becca. I'd like to meet a woman who has a LITTLE more free time on her hands. I'm busy too, earned a Bachelors degree in Communications and am now making wedding videos and working as a security officer to make ends meet, both of which I could've done with a hogh school diploma. Fortunately I was poor enough to get a Pell grant for college, so I have no student loans. I work a lot but appreciate a LITTLE down time, 2 days a week, to relax and play.
My love for and priority I give to my mate is the reason that for many years I dropped whatever I was doing at work to have lunch with my husband, every Friday. But guess what, after a while and God know how much of a while, he was having lunch with me on Friday afternoons and dinner with his lover on Friday nights. I may have been better off marrying to the career if only it was as good looking! But I dont believe in that. There is no loyalty when it is time to downsize no matter how many hours you put in.
You may have heard before that if you ever ask someone on their death bed what they regret not spending more time on/with, it will never be the job, it will always their relationship/s. The key is not to take on too much debt that hinders flexibility.
I always say that nurses and teachers are very special people. Nobody could pay them enough for what they do. They are angels.
So you have two jobs. That must be tiring. I suspect that sometimes there's not enough or no work on either side, by their very nature.
Just remember that it is never too late to retool. If you want it badly enough, you can have one job that pays enough, with fewer hours, but you have to want it, prepare for it and then go after it like a lion. Most healthy people have the power to create wealth.
There are billions of dollars circulating out there. You just have to figure out to get your hands on enough of it. I know it's easier said than done, but it is also true. Good luck.
I had that issue a little, where my work was so intensive, the men in my life usually wanted more time of me and it was hard for me to give more that the weekend and one night during the week. "They" always say the woman are the clingy ones.
Even now with out working, I need my own time and space and i think men, especially those that have been married want ALL of your time and attention. Isn't that what marraige is for? then still you work out some seperate time. geez, i want to wake up to him every morning, and go to bed with him everynight, but need some space in there to wash my hair and stuff! lmao!!
