I value intelligence, kindness, integrity, empathy, humor...all adjectives, sorry JacJac.
she knows her place in the world. she has grace, poise, and wisdom. she is radiant in her goodness. she is a spectacle to behold.
yet, she is so humble that no one realizes just how special she is.
except me.
She tells me that I am being "too picky" and that I was being unrealistic. She went on to say how I could find someone and be the one who teaches him love ..blah, blah, blah. Well, I wasn't backing down. I'm 34-ish years old and if someone my age doesn't know what love is or how to give it there is no way I'm willing to be his teacher. I believe we teach others how to treat us and our needs but it's not fair to anyone to say "this is how I want you to love me..do it like this". If that were the case I could just continue giving that type of love to myself.
Just wanted to share.
