What is the situation like at home?
What is it that's bothering you so much about him?
Maybe you have answered this in past posts. I don't know but I would like more information before giving out advice.
He's diabetic, has high blood pressure and smokes like a chimney. Also he has penis issues (hole is not closing after he had a growth removed and I haven't seen him get an erection in 5 years. Maybe he can't get one, he hasn't told me either way.
Living situation sucks. We live eith my parents in a tiny bedroom. I have a home there always.
He has his truck with sleeper. So many things bother me about him. A lot of them are just petty though but some things like not brushing his teeth daily or calling me names when he's drunk....
I was about to get upset with you. I'm glad I asked for more information. He doesn't deserve your pity. Get out of this now. Remember to put in that he's an abusive drunkard next time.
You are a good person for putting up with him this long. I applaud you
You loved him at one point, and you feel a sense of responsibility. You are a good human being, and you don't have any desire to inflict pain or discomfort on another human being. So maybe ask yourself this: does he NEED what you provide; or would he be capable of providing it for himself if he worked as hard as you do? You never need to feel guilty for not enabling someone.
I can so relate to the feelings you shared. I was married to a man who abused me horribly, and I still felt like I needed to make things "easier" for him. The day I told him I was ready to file for divorce, he looked me dead in the eye and said, "Ok. I was going to take what you would give as long as you would give it." I walked away, and haven't looked back since.
Good luck to you friend. It's a rough place you are in, but I promise it gets better. You have so many wonderful days ahead of you!
