I think you are referring to my post with this response; but then again that could be a false assumption. However, if you ARE referring to my post. GOSH NO! I don't think that's what I said. That is however your PERCEPTION of what I said. (get how that can become so innocently twisted).
What I meant to say is to lay out what really matters to you. (PERIOD) Do NOT concentrate on doing so in such a way as it appeals to THEIR perception.
See the goal here is for two people to come together with like goals, desires and dreams. NOT, for two people to CONVINCE each other they have like goals, desires and dreams. See the difference?
And it's very much a challenge for my baby and me, as we are both Bipolar, which makes us rather 'overemotional', at times!!!
I think if you make it a practice to always stay aware of the fact that showing respect for the other person is ALWAYS the way to go, acting rationally rather than emotionally is much easier to do.
