The type who wants you around when she wants you around only.
She's a user. She'll use you for what she wants until the next best thing comes around and then you'll be disposed of once again. Until she wants you around again. And on and on it will continue.
Do yourself a solid and block her # and pretend she never existed.
So someone that you hung out with and thought it would be okay to be her friend Was honest and told you she was interested in someone else and didn't want to muddy the waters of her head by talking to two guys.... So Showed respect by not playing you
Was nice enough to remember your birthday, after really having nothing together Had attempted to reach out and she's a user?
I say she showed her character by NOT wanting to lead you on, by NOT bullshitting you.... I don't see this as a negative.
I would say her circling back now and wanting something now given that the other guy didn't work out would constitute her being a strong candidate for a user.
To me it seems like she rushed into commitment with someone and cut everyone off.
This is the only thing that would make me want to not talk to this person - rush decisions.
You post often about going on "dates" where you are looking for friendship, and it turns out wrong in some way. Then you overanalyze a "friendship/relationship" with someone you met once or twice as though youve known them for an extended period of time.
On top of that, you said you were taking a break from dating for about... 2 weeks. Thats all the time you needed to get your head on straight?
Usually, when people are on dating sites (as youve mentioned you are previously) and meet up to go on dates, its called dating. Its to invest time into someone in hopes it will turn into something more romantic and/or permanent.
Its apparent to me that you are "looking for friendship" with women who want to date.
Perhaps, if you truly just want friendship, you might want to try a more friends-only route?
Life is a balance. Its both too short, and very long.
Its too short to worry yourself so much about someone who has had so little true impact or influence on your life. Your energy could be better spent elsewhere.
At the same time, you have many days left to walk this planet. There is no need to constantly have a female companion. This is not Doctor Who. You are young and have so much time to find what you are looking for from a woman, there is no need to rush it.
I say this in the most sisterly way possible - Please PLEASE put some time into filling the void within yourself first.
