Get out of the bed, get off the couch, and enjoy the great outdoors. Exercise. Take long walks. It'll get you in physical and emotional shape and it'll give you long periods to think. Works for me.

Since when do people get into relationships for GOOD reasons? They usually get into relationships because there's some deficiency that they perceive as lacking in themselves, that they think a relationship with another will solve.
The truth is, gotta have a good relationship with YOURSELF, and a good relationship with nature, some hobby, some work, some creative process, outside of yourself, before you can have a good relationship with ANOTHER.
Relationships are messy. They bring good things, like love, comfort and empathy, and they also bring a second set of additional issues and complications in addition to your own.
To be or not to be in a relationship is a matter of choice, of priority, of deciding "is this really good for me at this time"? If the answer is "no", don't be in a relationship. At the end of the day, you're staring at yourself.

You say you dont want to go on without this man, cant possibly imagine life without him, that youre so miserable you cant get out of bed...
But then you say youre not depressed and you go to the gym?
Girlfriend, thats the epitome of being depressed.
If you werent depressed, youd be out of bed, off the couch, and out doing things that you enjoy.
