I believe in myself. I believe that in order to have a healthy relationship it starts within and it takes knowing myself and appreciating myself.


Knowing myself is in accordance with the golden rule that many religious figures stand on to this day from many forms of faiths. It is abiding with personal healthy set boundaries that are based on self-regulation that depend on personal life experiences.


And in a world where there are no boundaries, mirroring back self-respect is like mirroring the law of the land becomes man's best friend. It is all like the holy grail such as the Ten Commandments established on Earth. It saves man's life and dignity. It preserves and perseveres in all things.


A Healthy relationship starts within and is essential to mankind. One must believe in the true self and one must be in all things authentic. It's nice to live a peaceful life as a result of a well-lived nurtured life.    


I believe in me and I believe in you. A healthy you is a healthy me and vice versa a healthy me is a healthy you. Do you believe in yourself? I hope you believe in yourself. Do you have a healthy relationship? I hope to be a healthy friend to all of you on here.

Oh yeah.. quite honestly the only thing I believe in is me. Not in an arrogant, self centered way. I certainly have doubts and fears. But more like, I only have control over me. I’m responsible for my life, my choices, my self esteem, my happiness and peace of mind. my SELF. If I don’t believe in myself, then what the hell is the point?

Exactly!!! One must believe in oneself because no one else can do that for oneself. I’m sure most fear uncertainties but when you’re sure of who you are and what you’ve done and confidence level is grounded. There is nothing to fear but to believe in yourself. Thanks for pointing that out RMB.

The relationship I've built with myself is true happiness. That couldn't have come about any other way I'm glad you know this. I think it's really brave when people get real with themselves

Nice sentiment and cute graphic. There's more to it though. Healthy relationships are actually less about "being you" and more about being successful together — even when "you" don't always get what "you" want.

Disagree, Poly. If we don’t have a healthy relationship with ourself, the self, first, there can really be no healthy relationship with another.

I think it’s possible to be “you” while still being successful together.

I think so too! It takes getting to know yourself to get yourself. Like RMB mentioned & I also see PolyNatural’s attitude of gratitude. It’s about appreciating who one is and what one brings to the table to make it a successful relationship.
