My boyfriend is hispanic and a little hairy in certain places. But you know what I like that he has hair. I like to feel like im with a man ya know? Ha, I make myself laugh all the time when I say it. It shouldnt matter if your as hairy as a gorilla or have zero hair,Although I really do prefer hair. Its about the person. I would be insulted If I was a guy and my girlfriend offered to have it waxed. It really shouldnt matter. Its just hair!?

This is going to sound gross but I nair my dh's back and I'm not shallow it's gross.

Hmmm, interesting. I wouldn't do the waxing thing, but if a significant other wanted my hairy back side bare, then I would be going to get the razor and shaving cream and tell her lets make a night of it.

MY husband is puerto rican..and has a fairly hairy back. (not really hairy just a little bit of hair) I dont mind it AT ALL but it seems to bother him. He asked me to wax it every once in a while.

I was with a guy once who was very hairy and had poor personal hygiene. He left little hairs all over the place. I've hated hairy men since him.

So after telling my husband about this post he said "Eww tell them all to get waxed or atleast break out the razor" lol. And this is coming from someone WITH a hairy back. (although I have to say ive seen hairier so I Think it thinks its worse than it is)
When I was working in retail as a teenager I remember a man coming in the store wearing a tank top with bushy hair sticking out from all ends lol. I was REPULSED and vowed never to date a hairy guy lol. Even though my husband is hairy.. I dont think I could handle a back like that lol.

i dont know, i am a body builder so i keep my body clean...yes my whole body. it is to the point that i feel weird if i have hair. women do seem to like it.

My husband has hair on his back, not super hairy though. It doesn't bother me.

The question was would I feel insulted and would I feel she was shallow? I would not be insulted. I would consider it if she wanted to pay for it ! If I dont get rid of the back hair am I out of your life? That would be the true test of shallow..Back hair is not like smoking, it isn't hurting anything..If I get it done would I think it is shallow? Maybe a little but aren't we all shallow in one way or the other?
To turn the tables, would you be insulted or think I was shallow if I asked you to change your hair color?

I see nothing wrong with hair, kinda like cuddling up to a teddy bear :-)

The request for waxing my back would really not bother me at all. In fact I hardly think of my back at all. Now, if she wanted to do that to my chest-no way. I am in full support of what AloneInUtah has to say about this!

so i "tollerated" my husbands hairyness for the first few months of being together. granted, we met in nov and married the following march...so it wasnt long that i wasnt asking about shaving. and it was great once he realized how much more excited i was to be all over him.

so i say all men (who are really hairy) should go for the shave...i once said id never marry a hairy man (it was such a turn off) but i fixed the problem once we were married LOL.
