As this coming wed me and my husband leave for the Bahamas for 10 days. I'm looking forward to it because we haven't had our time to our selves since we had our 3 year old little girl. The hard part is this is going to be the longest ill be away from her since she were gone and the anxiety is and emotions are kicking in.but we do need our time to enjoy and relax.he's always working he's got so much personal time he's already stopped accumulating and he has so much vacation time. It will be good for our little girl with my sister for 5 days then the other with his sister they both really love her neither 1 of them have kids they want them so it will be good for both to get a taste for what its like and good for our little girl to.I told him when we get back I want him around more he said he would take 1 vacation day a week for a month.as its emotional now but I know in the long run its good for all.

Here's to hoping the renewal of the adult bonds serves to strengthen the parental bonds. Enjoy your vacation.
I thought I was JPC. (Just Plain Crazy). Maybe 21st century wisdom is just plain crazy?
While he was still a cute neighbor, my hubby promised to be a stay-at-home father while I developed my Nobel Prize worthy science career. Ah. . . The things guys will say to get in your pants. , ,
I didn't start the stay-at-home gig until I found myself navigating the juvenile justice system with out-of-control adolescents (Now 34 & 38). The construction crews I was managing prior to that felt like a cake walk compared to full-time out-of-control adolescents. And people call this, "Not working?!?!?!?" I still have to remind myself to take off the steel-toe boots on occasion.
