we all think we need to get our rocks off in a regularly scheduled format, and it is a nice way to live. however, it is not necessary to our general well being.
friends are friends forever. love is eternal. a f$%k last a few minutes. think about it....
And, traffic, this woman won't go to my church (too busy and got her own sister's family to hang out with). This "friendship" is limited in many ways besides sex.
The answer koolman, stunned me (rare event !) as she replied, "It is one year to the day that I became celibate and I feel powerful !"
Yeah right - boring huh ?
Something to be said for a pure spirit that denies its flesh...
No koolman, she was in touch with herself and made a conscious decision to be celibate and leave repetitive behaviour patterns behind.
celibacy can be very powerful. but it is not for everyone.
sex can be powerful. but it should be the consequence of a relationship not the basis.
true love, unselfish love, is or should be the goal of everyone. it is in a loving relationship that we will build joy and it is joy that will nurture us when we need it most....like when we aren't getting any....
Choosing celibacy is not easy but it is what I have done, at first I was forced into celibacy but now I'm choosing it.
However if the right man came along and we were wonderfully compatable I'm willing to tear my clothes off for him.... LOL!!!
