I guess I'll have to check out the movie and see.
The main character comes to that realization himself at the end and finds a deep emotional bond with a woman that he would have previously deemed unfit to be found sexually attractive and therefore unable to interest him (played by Julianne Moore, who is my all-time favorite)
It was also a real eye-openeer for me and the boyfriend, as we have previously struggled with him having an addiction to porn.
My ex-husband was very unhappy because he wanted me to BE just like a porn star. He even went so far as to suggest I get a job as a dancer at the strip club near here... Additionally, I myself have stuggled with unrealistic expecations in what is "deserved" in a relationship as a female, which was a massive contributor to my divorce.
So all in all, it was nice to see a movie that is honest about these things in a way that is genuinely trying to get people to think.
I'll check your suggestion!
