Do I give up?

Well ok the girl I've been dating for the past 7 months has changed lately. Well her parent's dont want us together because I'm black shes white. So they told her I was allowed over their house but yet the other weekend they let her have a friend spend the night. Well I was highly upset because I can't go hang out with her bc of my color but they let a mexican 28 year old spend the night with her and shes only 18 I'm 20. Well I asked her did anything happen at first she said no and then she said yes but she said because I couldn't call and talk to her hardly that she thought we was broken up when I had just talked to her that day. So does anyone else see that as an excuse she is using or should I try to move on past it? I mean I'm mad at her for letting it happen because if its happend once it will happen again the way I see it. So would any of you trust her or end the whole relationship and hope the next one is better?

You're hating that I misinterpretted your words...maybe you just represented your words in a way that left them open for interpretation. From everything I said in that comment you didn't get that I said out right that your emphasis is on the wrong issue. You've mentioned race in places where it didn't belong if it wasn't an issue to you. I didn't misinterpret anything but your words.

I think she shes a little young and not ready for a serious relationship as yet. Perhaps she has some issues with being alone and some insecurities hence the reason she's needing to be with someone. My suggestion would be to cool things off for a while, break the contact and let her do the chasing. If she is interested then she will come looking for you, if she doesnt perhaps she really was just filling time tobegin with. - sorry to be a little harsh.

A human being, no matter what their skin color or sex, is young and immature at 18. They are exploring an adult life and haven't made any solid committments to morals or values yet.

Spellman.. your questions and confusion show a maturity level that is beyond your years. You may never find all the answers right now.

I'm sorry you are being played, but I don't think it's intentional nor does it have anything at all to do with your value as great man. You're just with the wrong person at the wrong time.

Hey spellman, I'm sorry to see the post replies upset you. It's never easy to take advice you don't want to agree with.

I'll say this, filter out all the multi-cultural stuff and you still don't have the ingredients for a healthy relationship. I've been in a relationship where the women kept me at a distance and I later found lied and cheated on me. You seem like a good guy and deserve better than that.

Keep the good memories you have with this girl and move on.
