Dh ex is calling him daily

My husband talks to his ex everyday. She never wanted divorce and wants him back. She txt him how ugly I am and says i am the wrong person for him. He tells me he sees nothing wrong with talking to her everyday. Says it's not like he goes over her house to help her with stuff. I try to not show my frustration to him but it just comes out and then he gets mad at me. Says, if he wanted to be with her he would so he says he obviuosly wants me. Words don't help. She is trying to break us up and he won't see it.

Would he like it if your ex was texting you all the time and telling you your husband was ugly and with the wrong person.

His behavior, allowing this, is completely inappropriate.

He's not taking your feelings/thoughts/emotions for real or he wouldn't be still talking to her, unless they have kid(s) but still it doesn't have to be everyday. Like soundwave said, pick you or her.

I felt the way you are all saying too but he makes it seem like I am overreacting. I've told him how much he would not like it if the table was turned. I never talk to my ex. They have a 13 and 15 yr old but yes, I told him, everyday is not needed. She calls him, not him her. She hasnt called on weekends but waits till monday when she can have free reign while I'm at work. He owns his own business so he is free to talk whenever. I told him it bothers me but he has reminded me how he has issues with my 24 yr old son who still lives home and I don't do what he wants regarding that situation. My husband moved into my house with me and my son a yr and a half ago. They don't get along. Thank you for your comments.

Well I wouldn't like it if my husbands adult kids lived with us either and that would have to change. But that's a separate issue from someone allowing their ex to say terrible things about your wife.

Ya, i think so too re: his ex calling me names. I guess his thoughts are its better to ignore her. Not how id like him to handle it.

They have 2 together but theyre 13, 15. Like today, they talked for an hour on the phone, and on monday for an hour, while im at work. He doesnt say about what. I was upset and he tells me im the one with the problem becauase he says hes not doing anything wrong. So, im trying very hard to not let it bother me (or at least pretend, cuz it does !)for now and see what happens over time.

I'm actually sick to my stomach that he doesn't care. I've asked him nicely to keep his conversations brief but he obviously isn't. Im really starting to believe relationships are too much. Always so many issues. i was married 20 yrs to an emotionally abusive man. Now, im feeling very insecure in this relationship.
