So is it us that are clingy or the men that cant handle to hear those words. I personally would love to hear those things from a guy.
Clingy isn't always a bad thing.
Anyone ever watch the older Jersey Shore shows? Sammy was incredibly clingy- even in the gym she would follow Ronnie from one piece of equipment to another- she went where he went and did what he did and seemed so insecure and lost if she wasn't with him. Pretty sure that's NOT a good thing.
to stop being clingy, when you grab the phone to call them every hour..stop yourself, no matter what it takes...let her come to you once in a while....do take breaks, go do something on your own once in a while. remind yourself that if she didn't want you she wouldn't be with you, so its okay to let her breathe she's not going anywhere
I think, it's OK to be clingy but not too dependent --I think there's a difference. To call or text more often is not bad, it just means you're excited to hear from the person or wanting to share special moments of your day--after all, we are in cloud 9 when we're in love and it's so good to share that happy feeling with the one who makes you feel like heaven. I think those people who get scared of "clingy" people are emotionally walled up and I think if they can't take the way we express ourselves then they have no place in our lives. We deserve people in our lives, whether they are clingy or not, who can understand that this is simply the way we express our affection and our fondness. Of course this has to come with moderation --telling someone you miss them or looking forward to see them does not mean we want to be with them 24X7, it's just a straightforward expression that we really like their company.
I realized that there are people who just find so much satisfaction doing things with a partner, not because they can't do it on their own, they just find that sharing these moments is happier. I am one of those people..there's just some explainable joy in sharing although there are things that I prefer to do on my own and wish people would respect that.
Sadly, some people are more comfortable with their walls and do not view sharing the same way some of us do. But then, I wouldn't really say you should change and be less clingy..don't commit this crime to yourself...those who are turned off by the way you express your affection are those who doesn't share or understand that it's just how you express your affection...someday, someone will come along who will appreciate that kind of expression and you're better off shooing away all those who do not appreciate the way you express your love rather than pretend to be someone else and end up unsatisfied in the end.
