Something has come to me lately.
It is not coming from a place of depression or loneliness.
I have been single for over 10 years now. In a way it has been a learning experience for me.
I have found that the little things are so much more important
Holding her hand.
Feeling her arms around me.
Her laying her head on my shoulder.
The small things are the things I really miss.
God may have wanted me to be single so I become a better man.
He may have wanted me to come back to him first before I find someone because he knew I would have fallen back with the same type I used to have.
He wanted me to find him FIRST so he could build me into a better man. Someone worthy of a good God fearing woman.
I will let it happen in his time. I will let him keep teaching me what I need to know to be the man that she deserves.
In the mean time. To all those that read this who has a husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend. I want you to go to them and take them in your arms and look deeply in their eyes and tell them this.
"You are the best gift God could have given me".
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails
Colossians 3:14-17
14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
