Pick up lines were always a huge turn-off to me. When a guy would use some line on me, he was done in my book before he even got started.
Just be you. Guys that use pick up lines are kinda pathetic, IMO.
Just keep it light, warm and try to find something funny to say.
And I ditto on laying off on the divorced status. It'll come up when it's important. I don't care to know the details right off the bat. Let's see how we click first and then we can share our relationship pasts. And talking about the ex in a negative light always makes me wonder if the guy will be talking about me like one day.
