My husband is everything I ever wanted in a man and he's 20 years older than I am.
I'm not knocking it, but I can see where the issues may arise.
If he was 22 and you were 20 no one would say anything...
Do your parents know?
Be safe...
Also, age can be relevant in that it can be (but isn't always) an indicator of experience and maturation. Granted, some 40yo so called men are still emotionally little boys... thats not gonna change. But there is some truth in the fact that a ature 19 year old girl still differs greatly from a mature 34 yo woman. Both could be mature for their age, it doesn't mean that they are equivalent in experience or wisdom. Should that be a limitation on whether either could be compatible with someone who holds a great age disparity from them. Certainly not. Only the two people in question can truly decide if they can meet eachothers needs both short and long term. Hopefully, both people, young and, er... not so young, can have an accurate view of what realistic long term expectations are... But age doesn't guarantee that one has it, or that one doesn't. Maturity is much more important than the number. Sometimes the number doesn't tell the story. But then, sometimes it really does.
