Everyone reacts differently when you tell them that you are also dating other people. One woman was very understanding and was cool about it. We dated for a few weeks when I told her I started being intimate with one. We parted ways and told me to call her if it didn't work out. Then another I told, broke it off because she wanted an exclusive relationship and I hurt her feelings.
Being honest is good but sometimes it hurts people.

Let's face it, we are all here because we are having relationship issues, and we want to have better relationships.

The first few dates, I just assume the other person is seeing/ chatting with other people (and I likely am too, hence no big deal). It's when things start to become physical (including just kissing), that seeing other people can become awkward.

I am NOT ok dating someone, who is having sex with someone else, while dating me (even if we haven't even kissed). I am NOT ok with them dating other people or or exploring their options on dating websites (public profile).

Kissing is a grey area for me...I'd prefer they stop dating other people, but would deal with it, if they were (it just might kill my mood/ chemistry for them).

However everyone is different, and pretty sure I am the minority. Most of the people I chatted with/ met, just want casual sex or an open sexual relationship (have sex with you, while dating/ having sex with others). If the latter is what you want, I'm sure you'll have no problem finding that (from the guys I've talked to, who've done online dating).

That second sentence, second paragraph should say

"I am NOT ok with them dating other people or or exploring their options on dating websites (public profile), ***if we have had sex***."

I also thought I should point out, if you're only looking to casually date/ open sexual relationship, it goes both ways, the other person your dating/ having sex with, is likely dating having sex with other people.

I am a female, who is somewhat attractive (not super attractive, by any means lol, but ok), and when I've done online dating, I get hit on A LOT!!! There are many more guys on the dating websites, then women (anywhere from 5 to 20 guys per woman). So keep that in mind..

So if you're dating a woman, and her profile is public, she is getting hit on a lot, and yeah, she's definitely chatting/ seeing other guys, and maybe having sex with people. i don't think most guys think about that.

All is fair until you have the commitment conversation. I assume we're both seeing other people until a commitment is made. If there is no commitment (as in just dating) but the other person doesn't want me to date other people, I see that as controlling. They don't yet want a commitment but want to make sure that I'm not seeing anyone else. The non-commitment commitment? Makes NO sense!

Then again, no guy has ever had the commitment conversation with me and then they feel burned when they find out I've been talking to or seeing other guys. That shits on them because they couldn't stand up and be a man and say what they want.
