As for trying to work things out between the two of you I think only you can make that decision. If you love her and want to try then I would suggest sitting down and talking to her about all the problems you both are having and what types of changes you both would be willing to make to have a serious relationship.
If this does not work perhaps there are friends or family that would be willing to let her and her daughter stay with them until she can get back on her feet. If there are reasons why she can't stay with you until she can find another place to go maybe you both can at least work on trying to remain civil to each other until she can find another place to stay.
I think it would be pretty tough to kick her out if she has a daughter and no place to go in a hurry however I am also a firm believer that I would not want anyone to use that as an excuse to stay or not to even try looking for another place to live so make sure if you decide to kick her out that you are firm but also fair. Hope this helps a bit:)
But if all else fails and she fights the process because she just wants to sponge off you, then you'll ultimately have to resort to copying down a list of local shelters where she can go to get the food and shelter needed for her and her daughter. That will make you feel lousy too, but there's an important lesson in all this as well. I don't have to tell you that either. So don't put yourself in that position again. Ultimately her situation is the result of her decisions. And yes you should be respectful and accountable of the conditions you helped manufacture here. But it's not a contract and the street is not her only option. Help her get going and use the shelters as a last resort ONLY, if she refuses to work towards a solution.
