@CD- cashews, the sad, less satisfying cohort to almonds :( Oh well. I've been eating my cashews as well... :)
@Kathy- couldn't agree more. Our food choices, in my opinion, are pretty important. Thanks for the insight.
I have a suspicion that I'm a bit hypo still. Don't get me wrong- feeling TONS better than a few months back. I'm a happy girl- eager to see those labs...
Mary- any luck kicking a few of the pounds? Mine are staying put :( Trying to get rid of them but they just won't budge. Any tips that are working for you???
You all are awesome- thanks for all the help- as always :)
So from what you are saying, if I am hypo ( in the lower range) then I should eat less goitrogens or cook them. If I am hyper ( which hasn't been since pre-diagnosis) then eat more.

Funny thing today my Drs nurse called and said its ok to lower my MM dose to 5mg. Well thanks for the prompt response, I already lowered it 10 days ago! She also said to see her and get labs in 6-8 weeks. I think that's too long. Do you all think labs should be done 4 weeks after lowering the dose?
Colleen- sorry you haven't lost weight, me neither. I do have to say I am not very motivated, I broke my leg last October and that is my excuse and sticking to it! I have been trying to eat less sugary fattening things though and no weight off yet.
Yes this Wisconsin weather stinks! It finally warmed up to 45 degrees today, woohoo!
Thank you ladies.
Happy Easter to you!
