I am not a Doctor but obviously the dosage you are on is making you Hypo.Or consult with your Doctor as to how you can get round this. The Endo doesnt give a damn if you havent seen him in a year! Get rid of him!
More and more Endos are doing the block and replace therapy and given a little 'shove' always works wonders.
Have your figures in front of you, your doses and your levels and calculate the 'right' dose or even better , ask him "What would you advise on the right dose?"
Many Endos feel intimidated knowing that their patient knows as much as them if not more but letting the Endo think he/she is coming up with the final answer is a classic way of doing it.
Be firm but be open to compromise.
Tell the Endo you will be taking the 3.75mg and 5mg and then ask "Would it be ok to call you if this dose doesnt work? Let the Endo know you are open to compromise but will not be trodden on either.
It takes a lot of courage to tackle an Endo but it can be done.
If the Endo wont agree to it then say, "What do I really have to lose? I either go hyper or hypo and if thats the case, then we will do it your way.
Most will agree to this.
