Interesting link. I clicked on the home page there and found this:
A magnesium deficiency will cause muscle tightening in the legs with spasms. A Vitamin B deficiency may cause the neurological problem and cause the crawling creeping feeling on the legs
So if my fix has been calcium and magnesium for my sleeplessness, and the charlie horses in my legs at night..in the past... the same truth would hold.. just a different cause. The stinking wonky thyroid levels.
I assume it was never "Estrogen Dominance causes Magnesium Deficiency and Vitamin B deficiency. "...since a couple times I had a doctor have me take Progesterone... OMG.. Instant Morning Sickness.. the kind that lasts ALL day. puke, puke, puke. With no baby as a reward at the end.
How's that for scientific reasoning. LOL All I know is no doctor is ever again talk me into that . "It takes time, be patient, you will adjust" did sound reasonable at the time.. never again.
That's my story, and I'm sticking with it. :)
I couldn't tolerate Progesterone either. Instead I did much better with the more Mag to Cal and the lower doses of the B Complex.
Good thing my holistic Doc doesn't tell me that these things take time and to be patient.

Because I went away last weekend for a couple's retreat with hubby, I was not able to take my vits/supplements until yesterday. The last two nights my legs has been bouncy.
Hopefully I'm back to normal with my vits/supp routine after a couple of days and I do much better.
