one dry eye

My right eye feels really dried out. I want to just close it and leave it closed. The other eye feels fine. I asked my husband and he said it doesn't look like its any different than the other eye. I wonder if this is a symptom of beginning GED?

I did too. More so than the other eye. It would get dry and be consistent with my cycling.

I found Salmon oil working better than the Flaxseed oil.

Do you grind your teeth? Just a thought because of what I've been experiencing.

I don't grind my teeth, that I'm aware of, anyway.

Before I was diagnosed I was grinding my teeth a lot and had to have a mouth guard fitted by my dentist. I believe that it was another symptom of GD that wasn't picked up on. The symptoms are so wide ranging it's difficult sometimes to connect them all. I stopped grinding my teeth once my T4/3 and TSH returned to normal.

I know that was a long shot, but just thought I'd ask. Do you have a ceiling fan in your bedroom? That made my dry eyes even worse. My husband said I would sleep with my eyes partially open, so that didn't help. Maybe your sleeping with your one eye open?

I've always had a grinding issue and found that a lot of my friends have it too even without Graves'. I've been told it's more common in women because we are "thinkers" :)
