I was diagnosed with Grave's disease in December and been battling neuropathy pretty much ever since too. It has been getting worse. I have also gained asthma and IBS. They think I have had Grave's problems for years which I agree with. Just because I have a psych disorder too (schizoaffective disorder) two of my doctors now think that my neuropathy is all in my head. I need a hug. I radiated my thyroid in March and am now on synthroid 88mcg for about 3.5 weeks. I hope I will feel better soon. Does anyone else have any problems with neuropathy and graves? Also I find it hard to stay away from calcium to take it in the morning. Also being hypothyroid right now, is it usual to have your period longer than normal? I can't walk across a parking lot without taking a break for air or a rest for my feet. I am only 25 years old and I am falling apart. I forget stuff all the time and sleep a lot... need HUGS!

I looked at your profile and see that you have multiple chronic conditions listed, for which i assume you take or took meds?
I am not aware lf graves causing neuropathy but i wouldnt be surprised if some meds you are taking can cause neuropathy.
What do you think?
If low levels of Free T3 and Free T4, periods can last longer and heavier.
I would get copies of my lab results for the Free Ts and keep track of how I am feeling. Most people feel best with their Free Ts in the upper third ranges.
