So wonderful to read this. :-)

KathyB - no luck with with the Facebook site.
Tmredneck91 - I’d be happy to go over what you are doing with you to see if we can calm your thyroid, a bit more.
MM - you were right on the money with the Levo... at this time, I just prefer to be off all the medications...until or if I have to go back.
BTW, last night had baked salmon and steamed broccoli & green beans.......oh my, something rose from the dead - my anxiety (I used to have it prior to being diagnosed) Now, I have eaten it before with no problem. But, this time, it was making me so anxious - do you think the salt intake and effect of eating THOSE vegetables set it off. I was wired all last night. Had to take my Thyroid Calm. Oh my!
Hope all of you are doing well. Have a lovely holiday, whichever it is that you celebrate. Take Care.
I am sorry you had problems with the foods. :-(
Do you know if the Salmon was farm raised or wild caught? Wild caught is better and doesn't have the 'stuff' in it that the farm raised have been fed with.
Think GMO for farm raised.
What about the broccoli and the green beans? Either of these were Non-GMO or?
Was the salt Iodized or?

We always buy it from Trader Joes. Not sure if it was farm raised or wild. All I know is it doesn’t have hormones or antibiotics in it.
If I use any salt, it is the Celtic salt.
I don’t think it is iodized.
I believe it was an interaction with the vegetables.
Even though they were organic.
I wish we were able to attach a file to these messages. There is a list of foods that interact with the thyroid. Brocolli is the vegetable, Green Beans is a bean - both interact. Walnuts, too.
My mixture of foods did it. Lucky me.
I find Trader Joe's to be one of the places to avoid on my list. I get reactions to some of their foods even when the few they carry listed as non-GMO. :-(
Trader Joe's are not very big on carrying some healthy items compared to other stores shopped at.
